Weber River

Overview

Water levels on the Weber between Rockport and Echo are great for fishing right now. The Mother’s Day Caddis are dwindling, but the evening caddis dry fly fishing can still be fantastic.  There has been some PMD activity and with the warmer weather the yellow sallies should be starting to move.  For those of you who want more solitude the Weber is a great alternative. Sow bugs, small midges, PMDs, and some cased caddis are your best nymphs this time of year.  Try a lightly weighted streamer early or during the overcast days.
