Location
Area Small Streams
Overview
Most of the high alpine freestone streams and lakes in the Uintas are frozen over and unfishable. Some of the smaller tailwaters are running low and clear. You might come across a caddis, blue wing olive, or midge hatch. Ice off is happening on a lot of local lakes, which can mean some excellent streamer fishing as well as some good dry dropper fishing with terrestrials and callebeatis.
