Overview
Be careful with water temps before you start fishing. If it feels like bath water when you step in, its too warm to fish. Upper elevation small streams are in great form right now. Its time to throw foam bugs!

Location
Area Small Streams
Overview
Some of the small streams in the area have been warming up. Check the water temperature before fishing so you’re not endangering fish. Temps in the high 50s to 60s are not ideal. There are safer, and colder rivers in Utah so stick to those.

Location
Area Small Streams
Overview
Most of the small streams have come down to their normal summer flow. Caddis and PMDs are being seen on most of the lower elevation small streams. The high mountain streams are coming into their summer form with terrestrials and attractor dries working. In the evening if your not getting any looks up top don’t be afraid to try a small streamer.

Location
Area Small Streams
Overview
Some of the small streams are still at normal flow “Current Creek for instance” and some are high and in full runoff. So each location may have very different conditions, best to call 435-658-1166 and find out our latest info if you are headed to any of these areas. As the snow melts and the small streams start to rise in flow, the water has the potential to be off color or washed out. This is normal for small streams during the runoff season, but that doesn’t mean the fishing is bad necessarily. Try nymphing things like worms, leeches, and sow bugs if you find yourself fishing high water on a small stream.
