Our Utah fly fishing reports offer a brief overview of current conditions on our waters. You'll find fishing reports for the main Utah rivers and streams that we guide on and fish regularly. Reports for the Lower Provo, Middle Provo, Weber River, Green River and Small Streams are included.
We write the reports based on our daily experiences on the water and information received from customers. We update the reports as conditions change and our schedule permits. If you don’t see what you are looking for, please give us a call at the shop or contact us here. We are always happy to update you with current conditions on many other Utah waters and fisheries in surrounding states as well.
Following are the latest reports in descending order of when they were last updated. As a result, you may see multiple reports on the same destination if we haven't updated one of the other destinations recently. Overview
The Weber is still chugging along despite random drops in flow. Currently its holding around 180cfs. The middle to lower parts of this section of the river have been fishing fair. Caddis is still the main hatch with a few yellow sallies being reported in the lower reaches, and pmds should be making an appearance soon.

Location
Green River Below Flaming Gorge Dam
Overview: Some Big Dry action
High water has come and gone. Base flow throughout most of the day is 850cfs. There is a short lived bump to 2000cfs in the afternoon/evening so dont get caught out on the other side of the river. There is still a planned high water for to eliminate the bass spawn in late June we’ll update when we know those dates. But for the information your really looking for, CICADAS! They’re out on upper B and most of A in the size 8-10 variety. there has been some of the truly big boys out as well but seem to be sporadic. On the cold days theres still some BWO’s hanging around. Hopefully we’ll see some yellow sallies, pmds, and caddis soon as well.

Area Small Streams
Overview
Many of our small streams are still to hard to reach due to snow at higher altitude. That being said some of the small streams that we can reach have been fishing well. Our normal is not to give our small stream locations here but understand that if you do stop by the shop we have some good intel on the small stream fishing and it has been good in some places.

Location
Lower Provo River
Overview
The Lower Provo is running a little high now the current flow is 330 CFS. Fishing has been ok the river was running even higher last week. With all the shakeup over private vs. public water access our guides have decided to fish more on the Middle so if the Lower report seems brief, it is. Try Sow bugs, BWO nymphs.
