Location

Middle Provo River

Overview

The Winter months have been good on the Provo so far this year. Winter flows are steady and so the river is still very accessible.

Dry fly fishing on the Middle has been consistent with good midge hatches from Noon to about 3pm.

Nymph fishing remains productive in the Provo’s deeper holes.  In the mornings try sow bugs and various midge patterns.  As the day progresses start switching to midge emergers and look for a possible midge hatch.

Small and Medium sized streamers have been working well.
