Location

Middle Provo River

Overview

The start of spring has continued to be good on the middle provo. Flows have remained at winter levels, and with the snow melting access has been easy.

Dry fly fishing on the Middle has been consistent with good midge and bwo hatches from about 11am to about 3pm.

Nymph fishing remains productive in the Provo’s deeper holes.  In the mornings try sow bugs and various midge patterns.  As the day progresses start switching to midge and or bwo emergers and look for a possible hatch.

Small and Medium sized streamers have been working well.
