Location

Lower Provo River

Overview

The flow on the Lower Provo is around 529 CFS.  This makes wade fishing a little bit more difficult.  The baetis hatch is winding down, but midges are still active throughout the day.  With the higher flows, nymphing is the most productive way to fish the Lower Provo right now. Midges are hatching in the morning and evenings and some baetis are still coming off mid day.   Sow bugs in smaller sizes are also working.
