Location

Green River Below Flaming Gorge Dam

Overview

Winter is on and the crowd is long gone. The flows change during the day, with water high in the morning and lower midday. Dry fly fishing can be slow, but the sporadic midge and BWO (on overcast days) hatch still happen.  Nymphing is going to be productive on the river with scuds, midges, and worms. It is prime time for streamer fishing.
