Location

Green River Below Flaming Gorge Dam

Overview

Spring is continuing to be good for the Green and river traffic is picking up. Flows have picked up to 2000cfs in the morning and a 2500 bump in the evening. Dry fly fishing has picked up on overcast days with large numbers of bwos on lower A, upper B. There is also still midge fishing to be had as well.  Nymphing is going to be productive on the river with scuds, midges, bwos, and worms. There is still some good streamer fishing to be had as well, Red Creek has been varying the amount of sediment dumped into the river so the lower river has been sporadic in clarity and how it fishes.
