Overview
The Middle Provo has come down again to about 399 cfs. Lower down the diversion channels are taking out water Upper midway gage is at 239cfs. The green drakes are gone, but the PMDs are still around hatching midday. The caddis nymphs are in the water, the evening hatch has been described as “epic”. The fish are starting to eat bigger terrestrial flies, but not as often as the hatch bugs. Nymphing is still the most productive method mixing up midges, pmds and caddis. The dry fly bite is on during the active hatch.
