Location

Lower Provo River

Overview

After this weekend the rafters should be subsiding for the year.  Flows are still a little bit high on the Lower due to downstream water demands, but the fishing can be good.  If your nymphing, stick to scuds, sow bugs, midges, San Juan worms, or PMD’s.  For dry flies try ants, hoppers, and some PMD’s.  With the higher flows and Fall approaching streamer fishing is a great option to try.  I usually stick to smaller, classic streamers on the Provo; Zonkers, Wooly Buggers, Leech patterns, etc.
