Location

Weber River

Overview

Water levels on the Weber between Rockport and Echo are pretty low right now. Once they bump the flows up a little bit more fishing will start to heat up.  Caddis are just around the corner. For those of you who want more solitude the Weber is an alternative. As for right now, fishing could be good and although the hatch is a little bit more sporadic this time of the year you may be surprised with a great midge or baetis hatch.  Sow bugs, small midges, beatis, and some cased caddis are your best nymphs this time of year.  Try a lightly weighted streamer early and late or during the overcast days.
