Location

Lower Provo River

Overview

The Lower Section of the Provo River below Deer Creek Reservoir is currently at about 400 CFS, this is still a higher flow but a good flow for any kind of fly fishing. Targeting slower sections of river has been more productive. Tubers have been floating down the river at about 9:30 in the morning, sometimes earlier on weekends and warmer days. Nymphing has been the more productive option while the flows are still on the higher side, as we reach the warmer parts of the day, dry fly opportunities present themselves.
